Client: Grapevine Museums — Settlement to City Museum
The Challenge: Settlement to City museum is one of three historical buildings in the Ted Ware Plaza in Grapevine. I designed the interior of the museum while working with the city’s historical research team for content and artifacts. You are self-guided through the rooms by dates and mayors of grapevine at the top of each interpretation panels, the center panels tell history of the local people and events of the period, lower panels chronicle the national milestones in the United States. Include in the project, I managed all the building of exhibits, contractors, installation and installing of museum artifacts. Project was a year and half in the making from concept to finish, and it came within the budget.

Client: Nash Farm — Complete branding and development
The Challenge: This client wanted to develop a total branding package which reflected the farm’s heritage. The branding carried throughout the many events and educational programs hosted at the farm. I developed the new logo, which was the jumping off point. After that, I developed numerous other print materials including self-guiding brochures the size of a road map, large museum-like panels inside the farmhouse, and wayfinding signs. The new branding will be used for future retail sales such as t-shirts, garden bags, and, yes, a branding iron!

Client: Grapevine Museums — Grapevine Cotton Ginners, a local museum
The Challenge: Client wanted interpretation panels designed for a fund-raiser for the soon-to-be Cotton Ginners Museum. Panels were hung from the rafters so donors could walk around to view the panels from both sides, without taking up too much space for expected crowd. The front of panels told of the history of the many gins in Grapevine’s past. While the back of panels listed Grapevine gins and showed vintage postcard of Texas cotton gins. Afterwards front of panels were hung throughout museum on the walls.
