MARKETING

Getting to know you and recognizing what makes a good marketing strategy, how it affects your target market, or event have been my first steps in marketing you. Designs shown are a variety of approaches from ads, brochures, take-ones, digital banner ads, table-tops and promo event give-away.

Client: American Airlines Publishing — Photo brochure sleeve

The Challenge: VIP clients of AA had their picture taken with a celeb and photos placed into the brochure. Promo needed to look like American Way Magazine. The client requested to use vintage American Airlines celebs photos. I hand colored the front cover to give a more vintage look and make the photo pop. The event was a huge success

Client: Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau — Marketing sales brochure tool

The Challenge: The 12 page, plus cover, brochure was used as a marketing tool to sell the city’s location and what it has to offer. The brochure for the first time was attractive while still featuring advertising and media results. The brochure featured fun event photos of the city. The design was a huge hit and went onto use the same format for several years.

Client: 1407 Main Apartments — Brochure for potential renters

The Challenge: Large high-end brochure for a newly built urban high-rise in Downtown Dallas. Aimed at 35-50 year olds, upper income. The brochure has large photos with multiple spots varnish on each page. Also, multiple fold outs for the wow factor and unusual die-cut pocket for floor plans and local interest. The goal was to mix urban with nature. Sweeping curve element weaves from page to page. The brochure has large beautiful images on every page that draw you into the upscale apartments. Brochure was received well and the building filled up quickly.

Client: American Airlines Publishing — Design and manage ads for magazine

The Challenge: The client wanted me to meet, create and manage ads for clients that would appear in either Fort Worth, Grapevine or Denton magazine that AAP produced for local cities. This was a bi-monthly and quarterly job depending on city distribution of the magazine. I created 30-50 ads per magazine quarterly. This is just a sample of ads and range of client business. All ads are from scratch to finish.

Client: Sell Promo Products.com — Logo, ads, postcards and digital banners

The Challenge: SellPromoProducts.com is an internet based company that educates and connects distributors with suppliers. I began with a new logo —slick and clean to suggest their high-tech field and connection between people, capturing the energy and spirit that SellPromoProducts.com brings to their customers. From this we developed a trade ad campaign and a series of web ad and banners that brought the human element versus the sometimes cold internet. From this campaign, their website was updated to the new branded look.

Client: Grapevine Wineries — Design passport for self-guided tour

The Challenge: Sip & Savor Passport is a self-guided winery tour, that allows consumers to experience the world of wine at Grapevine wineries. With the purchase of the passport, consumers can taste up to four wines at each winery, as well as receive exclusive discounts on bottle purchases. Rack cards are placed ahead of time at wineries, Convention & Visitor Bureau and local shops. Passport was a great way to get the public to visit wineries at your own pace. The passport was such a hit that it was used for several seasons, with cover color changing for each season.
